Chuluota man, 67, struck, killed while crossing road, FHP says

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A 67-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in Seminole County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said a Chuluota man died in the crash, which happened around 9 p.m. at County Road 419 and Eighth Street.

The FHP said the man walked into the direct path of a 2007 Toyota driven by a 44-year-old Chuluota woman.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

The FHP said the crash remains under investigation.
