Fire breaks out near Wet 'n Wild in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – A large fire burned Tuesday near Wet 'n Wild on International Drive in Orlando.

No one was injured in the blaze, which broke out around 2:20 p.m. in an area holding water slide parts.

Orlando fire officials said eight units extinguished the fire, which scorched a large area of land.

Earlier, video from News 6 helicopter Sky 6 showed flames spreading over a dirt area where construction or other materials are stored. A large, black plume of smoke was blowing into the sky.
