Man found dead in front yard of Orange County home ID'd

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man found dead Saturday night in the front yard of an Orange County has been identified.

Orange County sheriff's deputies said Shomari Howell, 30, was found dead after being shot multiple times.

Deputies said they received a call Saturday at 11:19 p.m. about an aggravated battery at 4625 West Gore Street in Orlando. When deputies arrived, they discovered the victim lying in the front yard with gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Howell was pronounced dead at 11:35 p.m., officials said.

Deputies said the suspect remains at large.

An investigation is ongoing.
