Man wanted in shootout, theft of $13,000 at Orlando construction site

Police release composite sketch of culprit

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for a man who stole $13,000 from another man who was counting cash in a truck at a construction site after they had a shootout.

The robbery was reported around noon on Aug. 20 at 4807 Millenia Palms Drive.

According to police, a man was counting cash for payroll when another man approached him and pointed a gun at him. The gunman fired several shots at the victim, who returned fire, police said.

The culprit then grabbed $13,000 in cash and drove off in a gray Nissan Sentra, police said.

Orlando police said the victim was not injured. He believes, however, that he might have injured the assailant, police said.

The culprit was described by police as a light-skinned black man, about 6 feet tall and 225 pounds. He has gold teeth and three tear-drop tattoos under his right eye.
