Palm Bay police report five 'creepy clown' sightings Sightings continue national trend
PALM BAY, Fla. – The Palm Bay Police Department has received five reported sightings of "creepy clowns" in the last 30 days.
According to News 6 partner Florida Today, four of the sightings were in southeast Palm Bay while the other was reported in the northeast section.
“It may seem funny to dress up like a clown and scare people, but there is a chance of it going terribly wrong, “ Palm Bay Police Lt. Mike Bandish wrote on the official police Facebook page.
Bandish asked people continue to report the "creepy clown" sightings to police.
Palm Bay police ask that those who see clowns to call 321-952-3539. People can call in tips anonymously at 800-423-TIPS.
Clown sightings were also recently reported in Orlando, near Boone High School, and in Flagler County.
