ORLANDO, Fla. – The ribbon was cut and now the kids can play.
Orlando Science Center’s improved interactive children’s exhibit KidsTown opened to members on Thursday.

The new KidsTown area is three times the size of the old exhibit with 11,000 square feet of engaging activities for children from a few months to 7 years old.
The $5 million remodel features seven different zones including the Orange Grove, Drip Drop Splash, Toddler Town, Explore It, ClimbTim, KidsTown Studio and Harriet’s KidsTown Theatre.

All seven areas are designed to inspire children to use creativity and build on critical skills for science, technology, engineering and math, according to OSC.
Science Center members can enjoy the new exhibit on Thursday and Friday, before it debuts to the public on Saturday.
