The victim told police that she saw Rivera outside her new home on Monday, but she doesn't know how he got her address. Police were unable to find Rivera. They said a portion of the victim's patio screen had been cut.

The victim told police that Rivera came back to her home through the patio screen and began banging on her patio door, according to the police report.

The victim told police that she  hid in the bathroom with her two children.

When police arrived  for the second time, Rivera was standing on the victim’s patio and  banging on the sliding glass door, police said.

Rivera refused to comply with officers' demands to show his hands and get on the ground, police said.

An officer had to climb into the patio and take Rivera to the ground, and several officers had to restrain him because he resisted being handcuffed, police said.

Rivera is charged with burglary, resisting arrest with violence and aggravated stalking.
