One man was killed and another was wounded Wednesday night in a shooting at an Orange County barber shop, deputies said.
The shooting was reported about 8 p.m. at Strictly Skillz Barber Shop and Salon at 400 Pine Hills Road near State Road 408.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, 33-year-old Brian Berry was killed inside the barber shop.
Another man, 28-year-old Reginald Trammel, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Trinice Brown, a nearby business owner, said Berry worked at the barber shop for years.
"I don't know how it happened and I don't know why they would just take somebody so innocent like that," Brown said. "It was a horrible scene that happened and I just kind of broke down. I've just kind of been dazed."
She said the shooting begs questions.
"We've got to stop. We've got to stop this violence. This is nonsense," Brown said. "What's the anger about? What's the beef about? Why are people just taking peoples lives? I don't know why someone would take his life to take him like that. It's horrible."
The shooter is described as an unknown male but no information on what prompted the shooting has been released.
