WINTER PARK, Fla. – The funeral for a strip club manager killed during a burglary attempt was held on Thursday in Winter Park.
James Mulrenin, 52, died on Dec. 14, when he fell from the balcony of his Uptown Apartment in Altamonte Springs after being shot, according to police.

Mulrenin’s funeral was held at 10 a.m. at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church at 526 Park Ave. in Winter Park.

Mulrenin was a manager at Dollhouse strip club on Orange Blossom Trail.
Deputies were responding to reports of a man jumping from his balcony, but when they got there they found Mulrenin also had a gunshot wound to his leg.
Mulrenin was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
Detectives said they believe Mulrenin was trying to get away from something happening inside his apartment, when he fell from the fifth-story balcony.
Atlamonte Springs police said Mandi May Jackson, 21, and Scott Michael, 30, were arrested in Orlando and charged in Mulrenin’s death.
