ORLANDO, Fla. – A resident woke up to smoke and called 911 after an apartment fire in Orlando Friday afternoon, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.
The call about the fire at the two-story, 2,000 square-foot structure came in at 12:07 p.m. The building, located on Americana Boulevard, had to be evacuated.

Officials said it was an electrical fire and two apartments were damaged because of it. Firefighters had to cut a hole in the wall of one of the apartments to determine the origin point of the fire.
