ORLANDO, Fla. – Last week, half a dozen Central Florida eateries were forced to shut down temporarily after a visit from a health inspectors, according to state records.
These records show that the reported eateries experienced violations like rodent droppings, roaches, and storage issues, among others.

That said, all of the Central Florida eateries that were forced to close down last week were eventually able to reopen after meeting health standards.
The full list of Central Florida eateries required to close last week is as follows:
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS
- Chef Nina and Co. — 1146 W. State Road 436
- Closed on July 30
- Forty rodent droppings found on premises
- Met inspection standards on July 31
DAYTONA BEACH
- Mama Kitchen — 2200 W. International Speedway Blvd.
- Closed on July 30
- Over 20 dead roaches found on premises
- Six live roaches found on premises
- Two flying insects found beneath three-compartment sink
- Operating with an expired Division of Hotels and Restaurants license
- Dried mushrooms stored on sanitizer
- Purple chemical stored with paper towels

HAINES CITY

- Eleven live roaches found on premises
- Nine roach egg casings found beneath handwash sink
- Washed and cut bell peppers stored in nonfood-grade bag
