Person of interest in Kissimmee hotel fire ID'd

Man seen near Unno Boutique Hotel before fire

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – There's a possible break in the investigation surrounding a Kissimmee hotel fire that left dozens of families homeless.

Investigators said Kevin Stewart has been identified as the person of interest seen near the hotel before the fire. Steward is not a suspect in the fire, but detectives belive he may have valuable information about what happened, officials said.

Flames tore through the Unno Boutique Hotel near Kissimmee just before Christmas. Investigators said someone set fire to a pile of mattresses outside the building.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about Stewart or the fire is asked to call the Arson Tip Hotline at 877-NO ARSON. Callers can choose to remain anonymous and information that leads to a successful prosecution may be eligible for a cash reward.
