KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Kissimmee Police Department has identified a recent homicide victim, thanks in part to a distinct tattoo on his arm.
The man was fatally shot Sunday night in the 2100 block of RJ Circle, not far from Main Street, just north of Highway 192.

Police said Tuesday morning that detectives needed the public’s help to identify the victim, who was described as a light-skinned male, 6 feet tall and 149 pounds. He had brown hair, light eyes and a tattoo on his right arm showing a howling wolf overlaid atop a dream catcher next to a bird.
Officials identified the victim as 20-year-old Chase Toops of St. Cloud Tuesday afternoon. They're still seeking information regarding the circumstances that led to his death.
A man who lives across the street from the home said he heard, "Boom, boom boom" around 10 p.m. Sunday. He saw police swarming the area shortly afterward.
"I come outside (and saw) too many police out here," neighbor Juan Stefarnese said.
"They just asked if we've heard anything, seen anything, and just said something happened up the street," said Todd Timmons, who lives down the street from the home.
Several other neighbors said they have noticed a lot of traffic at the home.
"I mean, there are a lot of nice cars that go in and out, but they're usually pretty quiet. Everything is usually pretty quiet,” Timmons said. “And this is how it always is, (a) serene, peaceful place."
Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to call the Kissimmee Police Department at 407-846-3333 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
