Police arrest Wesley Michael Gray in Clinton Drive shooting

PALM BAY, Fla. – A man has been arrested after a fight over the weekend ended in gunfire, Palm Bay police said.

Investigators said the shooting was reported just before 7 p.m. Sunday on on Clinton Drive near U.S. 1.

Police said three men were arguing about derogatory statements made about one another's girlfriends.

One of the men was shot and another was injured in the fight, police said. Both are expected to be OK.

Police said Wesley Michael Gray, 26, went back to his truck after the fight and fired off several rounds into the ground toward the two other men. One bullet ricocheted off the ground, hitting one of the victims in the ankle.

Gray fled the scene in his truck and was arrested not far from the scene, police said.
