Orange County firefighters rescue injured fawn

Team effort helps get results in animal's recovery

Orange County Fire Rescue saves a fawn.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Some local heroes jumped into action on Sunday to help an injured fawn.

Orange County Fire Rescue tweeted photos, saying the the young deer was found by the road. The fawn was taken to the Back To Nature wildlife refuge, where it received medical attention.

The incident marks the second weekend rescue for Orange County firefighters. On Saturday, firefighters were able to rescue a kitten from a chimney.
