MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Three men were injured in a Mount Dora bar fight Sunday when a man without a valid ID pulled a sword out of what looked like a cane, causing injuries to two men, police said.
The fight occurred when a bartender attempted to hold a pool table for two brothers, Victor Calles, 47, and his younger brother.

The policy at the Fat Cat's Billiards bar is that customers must have a valid license to hold the table. When asked, one of the brothers said he did not have a formal ID. Another said he had an ID but it was expired. When this happened, the bartender asked the two men, including Victor, to leave, according to authorities.
When Victor came back with a beer in his hand, it was confiscated and he started shouting at the bartender, moving towards the entrance of the bar, raising what was seen as a cane and shouting, "I will kill you," according to police.
It was at this point that two of the victims who sustained injuries tried to stop him by bringing him outside along with his brother. Outside, as the bartender witnessed a fight between Victor and the two men who escorted him outside, the Mount Dora police were called and the sword was drawn from the cane, allowing Victor to cut one of the men on his pinky and right ring finger, police said.
The other man suffered a broken finger and a cut to his head. Mount Dora Fire and Rescue, along with EMS services, arrived at the scene to treat the victims along with Victor, but he refused treatment. Because of his injury, he was brought to Florida Hospital Waterman before being brought to Lake County Jail, police said.
Calles was arrested by Mount Dora police for charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and having a weapon in a criminal offense, according to authorities.
