COCOA BEACH, Fla – Alexander Irwin, 23, was arrested after an armed disturbance at adult club, Cheaters Cabaret, in Cocoa Beach on Tuesday, police said.
A release from the Cocoa Beach Police Department said that their officers made their way to the club at 12:50 a.m. following a report of shots fired in the parking lot.

Irwin, of Titusville, was reported by witnesses to respond to an altercation with other patrons by retrieving a handgun from an older white Ford Expedition, firing several shots into the air and eventually fleeing the scene in the Expedition with two other occupants.
Officers observed the alleged suspect driving in the area when they arrived on the scene and conducted a traffic stop. Witnesses then positively identified Irwin as the individual who brandished the gun and he was then taken into custody without further incident, according to the arrest report.
Irwin was taken to the Brevard County Correctional Facility and held without bail. He is charged with discharging a firearm in public, improper exhibition of dangerous weapons or firearms, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of ammunition by a convicted Felon and DUI.
