Teen shot at Orange County condos Deputies launch investigation at Lyme Bay Colony No description found
ORLANDO, Fla. – A 16-year-old boy was shot early Wednesday while standing outside with a friend at an Orange County condominium complex, deputies said.
The shooting was reported around 4 a.m. at the Lyme Bay Colony condos on Warringwood Drive, south of I-4 and east of John Young Parkway.
Orange County sheriff's deputies said they found the teen suffering from gunshot wounds. He was alert and conscious and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Deputies said the teen and his friend heard four gunshots. The friend then noticed that the 16-year-old had been shot, deputies said.
It's not known who shot the teen, and no description of the culprit has been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
