Flagler Beach Pier reopens after Hurricane Irma damage

FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. – A Flagler Beach landmark damaged during Hurricane Irma has officially reopened. 

The Flagler Beach Pier was first hit hard by Hurricane Matthew last year, with the storm taking off 160 feet from the boardwalk.

The pier was closed for months, then shortly after reopening, was damaged again in this year's Hurricane Irma. 

The Flagler Beach Pier officially reopened to the public at 6 a.m. Friday morning.
