MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A crash on Interstate 75 in Marion County wreaked havoc for drivers Sunday after a truck hauling a horse trailer crashed and overturned.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the truck, driven by John McKelvey, 54, had a blowout on the left front tire at mile marker 365 around 3:33 p.m., causing the truck to cross the center and inside travel lanes.

Troopers said the truck left the road, struck the guard rail and began to spin until it overturned several times and came to a rest on the left side.
The FHP said the trailer also spun around, left the road, crossed the center median and guardrail, overturned and slid about 30 yards. It's unclear if there were horses inside the trailer at the time of the crash.
Neither McKelvey or his daughter, Samantha Sullo, 21, who was a passenger during the crash, were injured, troopers said.
The crash was cleared by Sunday evening, but traffic was still slow moving. Officials urged drivers to use caution in the area.
