Orange County bar owner shoots co-owner, himself in murder-suicide, deputies say

Deputies say patrons were inside the bar at the time

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The owner of a bar in Orange County shot his co-owner and then himself Friday night while patrons were inside, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office. 

According to deputies, Julio Masias-Flores, 45, shot co-owner Lida Fernanda Calderon, 45, and then turned the gun on himself. 

Deputies responded at 11:12 p.m. Friday to the Mezcal Bar at 2346 W. Oak Ridge Road regarding a report of gunshots inside the bar.

Orange County Fire Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced them both dead, officials said.

No one else was reported injured.
