Arrest made in shooting at Gilt Nightclub in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 23-year-old Orlando man was arrested in connection with a shooting at Gilt Nightclub in Orlando.

Peter Palacios faces charges in the Bennett Road shooting, which was reported at 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot outside the club.

Orlando police said a fight broke out and multiple shots were fired, leaving one person injured.

The shooting victim is expected to survive.

Palacios was arrested on charges of aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.
