22-year-old man dies in 3-vehicle Orange County crash

Driver taken to Orlando hospital with critical injuries

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 22-year-old Orlando man died in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The FHP said Eric Winspare died in the crash, which was reported at 7:40 p.m. at Silver Star and Sheringham roads.

According to troopers, Winspare was a passenger in a 2008 Pontiac that crashed into a 2000 GMC truck, which was making a turn onto Sheringham Road.

Winspare, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died, the FHP said.

The driver of the Pontiac, Johnny Moore, 22, of Orlando, was taken to ORMC with critical injuries, according to the FHP.

Troopers said the driver of the GMC, which was pushed into a 2006 BMW, was not injured. The driver of the BMW suffered minor injuries, the FHP said.

The crash remains under investigation.
