SANFORD, Fla. – A man and woman were found dead Monday inside a home in a suspected murder-suicide, according to the Sanford Police Department.
Police identified the couple as Edward and Cathy Kramarcik.
Officers said they were called to the Carriage Cove neighborhood around noon to conduct a well-being check after a woman had not shown up for work and had recently reported that she was having problems with her husband.
The couple was found dead in the residence from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a news release.
Police said the deaths appear to be a murder-suicide, although an investigation is still ongoing.
