Hearings begin in President Trump impeachment investigation

President Trump denies doing anything wrong

The Washington version of must-see TV makes its debut with the first public hearing in the impeachment inquiry.

Cameras are in place in a House office building just south of the Capitol for the opening session Wednesday morning.

Following two witnesses Wednesday are one witness Friday and eight more over three days next week, all providing evidence about President Donald Trump’s efforts to tie U.S. aid for Ukraine to investigations of his political opponents.
