3 people, dog rescued from water after sea plane crash, officials say

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – Three people and a dog were rescued from the water after a sea plane crash Saturday afternoon, the Tavares Fire Department said.

Multiple agencies, including Lake County Fire Rescue, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida Highway Patrol, responded to the crash in Lake Dora.

Officials said the Federal Aviation Administration responded from Orlando to handle the investigation.

No other details were given.
