Central Florida father makes plea for missing daughter

Tia Bonta last seen July 31 in Orange County

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Central Florida father makes a plea for help in finding his daughter who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Orange County deputies on Tuesday put out an alert for Tia Bonta, 24, who was last seen July 31 near Dean Road and University Boulevard.

Bonta's family said they have not heard from her, which is unusual. Her father told News 6 that he's concerned for her safety.

"If there's somebody that has her or holding her, we're making a plea that you bring her home or let her come home," Kevin Bonta said. "Let her make that phone call. If you don't, we're going to find out who you are, and I'm not going to stop until I find out where you're at."

Anyone with information about Bonta's whereabouts is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
