VIDEO: Florida deputies help wrangle 10-foot alligator at 7-Eleven 2 gators removed a week apart
SARASOTA, Fla. – Some 7-Eleven customers most likely did a double-take—and a big gulp—after a wild sighting in the parking lot.
Sarasota County deputies teamed up with trappers on Tuesday to safely capture and remove a 10-foot alligator.
The sheriff’s department shared video of the operation on Facebook , joking that Sarasota seems determined to make alligator captures a weekly event.
The 7-Eleven gator capture comes a week after the sheriff’s office shared video of seven deputies and a trapper capturing and removing an alligator before lifting it in the back of a pick-up.
