Accused conman's daughter says he's 'really good' at lying

Ken Boyer's daughter says he's had many fiancees

ORLANDO, Fla. – The daughter of the man who multiple Florida woman said has conned them is convinced her 60-year-old father has been using cancer as a means to gain sympathy from women.

Hannah Boyer told News 6 that  she is not surprised by the allegations of women who claimed her father, Ken Boyer, said he “loved them all.”

Hannah Boyer said that she lived with her father for about a year after her parents divorced in 2006, and was introduced to a parade of women he said he loved.

“He had multiple fiancées,” she said. “I remember as a child after my parents got divorced, there was, like, woman after woman coming into his life and he would say, ‘Oh, I would like you to meet my fiancée.’”

Hannah Boyer last saw her father in Missouri on her 19th birthday. The two spent a short time together over lunch and “that was it,” she said.

Boyer, who turns 21 next month, said her father is a “liar," who would make a “great actor.”

“As far as I’m concerned he’s narcissistic. He is selfish and he only loves himself,” she said.

Hannah Boyer contacted News 6 after multiple reports surface from women who  accused her father of telling them all he was in love with them and then used them for money or a place to live.

Ken Boyer said he has stage 4 liver cancer.

Hannah Boyer confirmed that her father called her in February to tell her that doctors didn’t give him much longer to live, likely not past June 4.

Karen Hagerty, a teacher near Winter Haven, said Ken Boyer asked her to marry him in February.

“He loved every single one of us and he loved us all  from the second he laid eyes on us,” Hagerty said.

Women from Tampa, Winter Park, Miami and Sebastian told similar stories offering photographs and romantic texts from Boyer’s personal cell phone as proof.

News 6 was invited to Boyer’s wedding on Monday in Palm Bay.

The station was told Boyer had terminal cancer and was marrying his long lost love  Michelle Kimbrel, of Missouri.

Before the ceremony a tearful Ken Boyer appeared to be conceding to his fate.

“I’ve had a really good life,” he told News 6 . “God has been good to me and if this is my time, this is my time.”

Just hours after the story aired there were social media posts from women who questioned Boyer’s story of love and cancer.

Cheryl Alvarez, of Miami, said she first met Boyer on SingleParentMeet.com and like the other women he told her that he loved her right away.

“I was his Jamaican princess,” Alvarez said. “We talked about getting married.”

The women are convinced he used alleged cancer treatments in other cities including Jacksonville and Miami as excuses to be away from the other women he was dating at the same time.

When asked about the allegations Boyer admitted knowing the women, but denied the allegations against him.

“I’m not denying that they know me, I have dated them all. I am not going to play their game,” Boyer wrote in a text message to News 6. “The people that truly know me and truly know me still do, but you haven’t talked to any of them. You are only talking to angry hateful jealous women.”

When asked to provide documentation of his cancer diagnosis Boyer declined and suggested that the story had been exaggerated.

“Nobody said anything about weeks to live, and I’m sorry the drama card was played to sell the story but we are done with this,” Boyer said.

Boyer’s marriage license was filed in Indian County Clerk of the Court on May 4.

He has not produced any medical records to support his claims of a stage 4 liver cancer diagnosis.
