Jury recommends death for father convicted of killing infant son

Hearing in Larry Perry case set for October

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A jury on Tuesday recommended a death sentence for an Osceola County man who killed his 3-month old son.

Jurors deliberated for about three hours before making the recommendation in the case against Larry Perry.

Perry was found guilty of murdering his infant son, Ayden Perry, in 2013 after the baby would not stop crying.

The child died the following day at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

A judge will have the final say on Perry's sentence at a hearing in October.
