Family escapes house fire near DeLand Cause of fire under investigation
DeLAND, Fla. – A family of four safely escaped a house fire early Tuesday in Volusia County.
The fire broke out at 827 Fatio Road near DeLand.
Officials said the family hear a popping noise in the attic and saw flames when they opened the attic access.
Three adults and an infant ran out of the home. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
