Man arrested for allegedly making online threats to protestors, deputies say

A man from Hillsborough County was arrested by deputies in Orange County after making alleged online threats to shoot protestors on his Facebook account, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies took into custody 30-year-old Alex Bancroft after he allegedly threatened to shoot Black Lives Matter protestors on his Facebook account on July 24, deputies said.

Bancroft later left for the Orlando area and was arrested in Orange County, deputies said.
