Brevard Public Schools will reopen Tuesday, a day after campuses were closed due to Tropical Storm Eta.

Schools were closed Monday due to a tropical storm warning for the county. As of noon Monday, only the coast of Brevard was under a warning.

“The tropical storm warning for Brevard County has expired. With that in mind, Brevard Public Schools will resume normal operations on Tuesday, November 10,” BPS said in a news release. “This means schools and district offices will be open and all school activities will resume.”

Eta is now moving away from the Florida Keys, and some computer models suggest it will take a track to the west. The official track still includes Florida but could change in the coming updates.
