Victim identified as 36-year-old Matthew Ray Bragg

A man was killed after crashing his car into a tree on the east side of Wickham Road in Melbourne on Sunday, according to the Melbourne Police Department.
The man, identified as 36-year-old Matthew Ray Bragg, was taken to Melbourne Regional Medical Center, where he later died, police said.

Police said that alcohol or drugs might have been a factor after an initial investigation.
The crash is under investigation.
