Man found shot to death in Clermont identified

CLERMONT, Fla. – A man was found shot to death Tuesday on the third floor of an apartment building in Clermont, according to authorities.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said Dejuan Dior McWilliams, 32, died in the shooting, which happened around noon at the Cagans Crossing Apartments, west of U.S. Highway 27.

Deputies said a confrontation took place between McWilliams and the shooter, and “the evidence so far is consistent with (McWilliams) entering the shooter’s apartment uninvited.”

Investigators said the pair knew each other.
