Woman shot in dispute at Pine Hills apartment complex, deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man shot and injured a woman Wednesday night at an apartment complex near Pine Hills, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies said they were called to the Southern Oaks Apartments off Silver Star at 9:11 p.m. for a reported shooting.

The sheriff’s office said deputies found a woman in her 20s suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.

The man, also in his 20s, fled the area and has not been located, deputies said.

Sheriff’s officials said the man and woman know each other.

No other details have been released.
