The FBI said he has ties to Seattle, Washington, Las Vegas, Nevada, Alaska, Florida and Fresno, California.

The arrest warrant was issued on June 9, 2022, in Chicago after he was charged with interstate communication of threats, according to the FBI.

Sheffield is accused of making “explicit threats to direct and livestream the violent murder of a minor and that minor’s family.”

The FBI believes there may be other victims and is asking anyone who may believe they were victimized to fill out an online questionnaire.

Authorities said Sheffield went by the following aliases: David White, Dave White, Damien White, Damien Donahue, and Craiger Strout.

The FBI said contact may have happened through his social media accounts.
