Florida firefighters free raccoon found stuck inside jar Marion County Fire Rescue helps ‘Ricky the raccoon’

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A raccoon stuck in a tree was freed after being found with its head jammed inside a jar in Marion County, according to fire officials.
Marion County Fire Rescue said “Ricky the raccoon” was found Tuesday afternoon in Belleview.
Firefighters took the animal down, helped him get out of the jar and turned him over to animal control.

“We are pleased to say that he didn’t suffer any major injuries,” they wrote on Facebook.
