OCALA, Fla. – Another arrest was made Friday in the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man in November during a drug deal at a Burger King in Ocala, according to the police department.

According to the Ocala Police Department, a Crime Stoppers tip led officers to Johnson at a home on NE 40th Place.

The fatal shooting happened in the parking lot of a Burger King on East Silver Springs Boulevard.

Police said Vaillant was shot and killed when a prearranged drug deal went wrong. Vaillant got into someone’s car after the shooting and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Johnson’s arrest comes two weeks after David Smith III, who was already in jail, was also charged with third-degree murder in the shooting.

Two others, Kevin L. Coleman and Tulana Joshua, were arrested for tampering with evidence.
