ORLANDO, Fla. – Lt. Madison Marsh was crowned as the new Miss America over the weekend at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, according to CBS News.
Marsh, the reigning Miss Colorado, is a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and the first-ever active duty servicemember to win the title.
Kudos poured in across social media including from the Air Force, reading in part “Congratulations to our very own #Airman , 2nd Lt. Madison Marsh, aka Miss Colorado — who was just crowned @MissAmerica 2024!”

Marsh becomes the fourth Miss Colorado to become Miss America.
