ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man is suing a Florida towing company after a truck fell on him last year, according to court documents filed on Wednesday.

The lawsuit says that the incident happened on July 1 in Ocoee when the man — Herbert Sillerico — was having his trailer lifted by a worker with King of Roads towing service.

However, the worker failed to properly lift and secure the trailer, which caused it to drop on top of Sillerico, the lawsuit claims.

According to the lawsuit, the worker failed to position the lift jack properly, which caused the fall.

As a result, Sillerico suffered “bodily injury in and about his body and extremities,” ending in major scarring and hospitalization, the lawsuit reads.

Due to this, Sillerico is seeking over $50,000 in damages.
