The crew will go up on SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket using the Dragon spacecraft, and teams are expected to soon transport the spacecraft to the Kennedy Space Center for integration with the rocket, NASA said.
The Dragon spacecraft — nicknamed “Endeavour” — previously supported NASA’s Demo-2, Crew-2 and Crew-6 flights, as well as the Axiom Mission 1 flights, NASA officials said.
After arriving at the space station, Crew-8 members will begin their six-month stay for research and operational tasks.
