Central Florida couples celebrate Valentine’s Day by getting married

Couples get hitched at Osceola County Historical Courthouse

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Officially tying the knot, what better day than Valentine’s Day to marry the love of your life?

That’s why Zachery Keppler and Angelise Ortiz decided to come to the Osceola County Historical Courthouse to do just that.

“She takes really good care of me — she’s an amazing mom and amazing woman — she’s been through a lot and I just know this is the person that I want to be with,” Zachery Keppler said.

The Keppler family was not alone. Eleven other couples were on the same love boat and decided to get hitched, too.

“It was just the best the opportunity and I think it was just meant to be,” Selena Martinez said.

The ceremony was held in both English and Spanish by Osceola Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Kelvin Soto.

“It’s an incredible privilege and honor to do these ceremonies especially when we do it in a way that involves the whole community,” Soto said.

Sebastian Hernandez and David Virag have been together for six years and they said love takes a lot of hard work but when you find the one, that’s the easiest part.

“Dedication, honesty, always being there for each other. I knew you were the one,” Virag said.
