Shooting near Camping World Stadium sends 1 to hospital

ORLANDO, Fla. – A shooting near Camping World Stadium sent one person to the hospital, according to Orlando police.

Police said they responded to John Young Parkway and Colonial Drive after receiving reports about the shooting.

They found a person who was shot, a release from the department shows. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Around 4:30 p.m., police said detectives were at the scene.

Police have not given any details on the victim’s identity or said what led to the shooting.
