ORLANDO, Fla. – A 25-year-old Orlando man was killed in a crash Thursday afternoon in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
In a release, troopers said the crash happened around 4:15 p.m. on Simpson Road east of Boggy Terrace Drive in Kissimmee.
An FHP crash report says that the man was driving a motorcycle east along the sidewalk of Simpson Road “above the posted speed limit.”
Meanwhile, a sedan was also driving east along Simpson Road, and it tried to make a right turn into the driveway of a nearby home, troopers explained.

As a result, the front of the car struck the motorcyclist, causing him to be pushed on the sidewalk, the release shows.
According to the report, the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Meanwhile, the car driver was not transported and remained at the scene.
