Man linked to more than 17 Orlando burglaries arrested, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man linked to at least 17 burglaries was arrested by property crime detectives, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Police said that 26-year-old Clinton Murvin has been linked to the aforementioned crimes and four more attempted burglaries in the Lancaster Park, Delaney Park, Bel Air, Lake Como and College Park neighborhoods in recent months.

According to a news release, Murvin is currently in jail and faces more than two dozen charges, including grand theft first degree of $100,000 or more.

Police said they found jewelry and other personal items in Murvin’s truck after executing a search warrant.

According to the release, Murvin has “an extensive criminal history in Orlando,” with burglary cases dating back to 2014.

The investigation into recent cases is ongoing.
