Armed guard injured in cutting at Orlando apartment complex

ORLANDO, Fla. – An armed security guard was injured early Tuesday in a cutting at an Orlando apartment complex, police said.

The cutting happened around 4:50 a.m. at the Park Central Apartments on City Street near John Young Parkway and Holden Avenue.

Orlando police said the guard suffered several lacerations and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. The guard’s condition was not released.

Details surrounding the incident have not been released, but police said detectives were following leads to uncover information about the suspect.
