Body found in pond near UCF Death investigation underway near Alafaya Trail and Gemini Boulevard

ORLANDO, Fla. – A body was discovered Tuesday morning in a pond near the University of Central Florida, according to campus police.
The UCF Police Department said the body was found in the water near Alafaya Trail and Gemini Boulevard.
There is no threat to campus, and police believe do not believe the death is a result of suspicious activity.

The person’s name and age have not been released.
No other details have been made available.
