Missing 4-year-old Orange County boy found dead Amere Baptiste found dead in body of water near his home
ORLANDO, Fla. – A missing 4-year-old boy was found dead Monday in a body of water near his Orange County home, according to the sheriff’s office.
Amere Baptiste had last been seen in the area of the 12600th block of Victoria Place Circle in Orlando and was reported missing Monday morning.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the boy was found dead in a body of water near his home.
“We are mourning his loss, and know our community joins us in extending our deepest condolences and prayers to his family,” a sheriff’s office spokesman wrote in an update.
An investigation is ongoing.
