Missing Marion county 16-year-old girl found safe, deputies say

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said the missing 16-year-old girl last seen Tuesday morning was found safe.
Deputies said that Cali Avera arrived at Cactus Jacks Trail Ride with her family, but walked away shortly after arriving. She was last seen near the Quail Run subdivision around 9:30 a.m.

Officials said around 7:39 p.m. that Avera ‘has been recovered and she is safe.’
